Gloucester County Services

Gloucester County provides various services to our students on our school site.

These services include:

Child Study Team Evaluations:  Upon recommendation from teacher or parents, diagnostic tests are administered by the Gloucester County Special Services School District.  This comprehensive evaluation is done at no expense to parents and includes an overall evaluation of the child’s ability and performance.  This service makes available specific information about a child’s strength and areas for improvement that enable participation in a program to provide support services by the specialist in the trailer outside the school.

Speech/ Language Services:  Students will be evaluated to determine if they would benefit from Speech and Language classes provided by specialist in these areas.  With parents’ permission, classes are help in the trailer outside the school.

Basic Skills:  Classes are available for students who are in need of academic support in Math, Reading and Language skills.  Standardized test scores determine placement in these classes, and in grades K-2 teacher recommendation enables the students to benefit from this program.
