Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 are given the opportunity to accelerate their Math program to enable them to complete Algebra 1 by the end of 8^th grade.  Many of our students go on to take Geometry or Honors Algebra II as freshman.  Qualifications for admission to this program are a combination of Standardized test results, history of math mastery in previous grades and a test administered at the end of 5^th grade.  The school determines admission to this program.   If a student evidences competency after the initial decision, that student may be admitted to the program at any point.
